Roundhouse Hotel Bournemouth

Very good location, closed to the sea, train station and local amenities.Very hot in the room, 5th floor even though the radiator wasn't on and temperature outside was normal for the time of the year

This is not a holiday hotel - it is very dated and needs rebuilding. Perfectly fine for a night in Bournemouth with your mates; you check in late and then go out and get hammered coming back at silly o'clock in the morning. The quality of the hotel is irrelevant with a hangover from hell. It doesn't cost very much to stay here for a night - expect what you pay for.

Stayed at the Roundhouse on a 5 day stay between Sept 20/24 with National Holidays. Having read previous reviews on Trip Advisor it sounded a terrible place but from the first moment we entered the hotel we found none of that to be true in our experience. We had a spacious room on the 3rd floor which had plenty hanging space and drawers. The beds were nice and clean as was the bathroom with HOT water. Tea and coffee was provided and the kettle etc was spotless. The curtains and carpets were also very clean so all in all a very nice room. The restaurant served several different main meals and starter each evening which were always well cooked and delicious. We could never manage all the courses. The restaurant staff and bar staff as well as reception staff were very hospitable and obliging. We had entertainment each night with some superb singers. The weather that week was also in our favour as the sun shone all week. Had we taken notice of the comments we read we would never have chosen this hotel but are so glad we ended up there as it was very central for both the town and beach. Rated as 2* it is worthy of being a 3/4* and had a Hygiene rating of 5. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel needs a good clean and the bathrooms had mould all over the sealing.

Adequate room, nit the nost comfirtable bed, but it sufficed

Very very run down and not worth the money

Bath dirty, handles grabby, dust in room. Lovely staff but put off paving to pay £8.50 for only few hours as got there late after a long journey. Car parking should be per hour! Also opened my boot and bang was scratched on the wall!!!
