Embassy Suites by Hilton Washington DC Chevy Chase Pavilion

The hotel was very pretty and it was clean.

There was a very large window from the room into the hallway for everyone to try and look into. When I checked in I was told the card they were using was just to hold for damages and would not be charged other wise. I was charged to that card and every time I have called to talk to someone about the charge on my card I have been hung up on, not answered or not called back.

Had a wonderful time in the hotel. The service was excellent and loved the location which is Close to shops,restaurants, and the Metro .

The price of parking.

Nothing since my reservation was canceled by the hotel at 2 pm on the day I was supposed to check in.

I did not like that my reservation was canceled by the hotel at 2 pm on the day I was supposed to check in. We are informed through a generic email that did not make clear why the reservation was canceled. I thought it was a spam email. I called the hotel, and the representative was not helpful at all. He told us that the reservation was canceled because Booking.com overbooked the reservation. He told us that we could contact other hotels in the area. He blamed Booking.com for it. I am not convinced this is true. He did not even try to find a solution. All rooms at Embassy Suites hotels were booked, according to him. It was not true since I found rooms available at other Embassy Suites in the area at higher prices than the price associated with my reservation. It looks like a case in which maximizing profits supersedes customer service. However, he told me that it could guarantee that I would not be charged for the reservation that was canceled by the hotel, as if somehow that was great customer service. If I had canceled my reservation at 2 pm on the day of the reservation because of a family emergency, for example. Embassy Suites would have charged me for the night I had reserved. However, it does not work the other way around. Embassy Suites canceled my reservation, but there was no compensation for the inconvenience and extra cost created by the canceled reservation. I had to reserve a room at a nearby hotel for $100 more than the price I had at Embassy Suites.

It’s very comfortable and definitely recommend and I will use this hotel again without a doubt. The breakfast was delicious and had many options

The size of the room and accommodations.

The parking situation. The garage was very con fusing. There was no cart to help bring your belongings in. We had to carry everything in 3 trips. The neighbors were very noisy at 12 am..Kids screaming and jumping.

The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable.

We were not able to get anyone on the phone, the extensions, or the chat through the website when we needed something. The pool was not open to guests the whole time, and the classes that took place in the pool did not accurately reflect the schedule posted. We had a very hard time understanding the parking situation as well because it wasn't communicated well beforehand. When we tried to call the hotel from the parking garage, no one answered.

I don’t like it except it has a good location.

All rooms were sprayed heavily with toxic perfume. The heavy perfume smell irritates your nose and compromises your health. All room windows cannot be opened so there is no fresh air after you have entered the room. The breakfasts are for "pigs" - low quality, taste bad and contain many fake/low quality ingredients. The staff collecting the breakfast tickets on 29 April 2026 has an altitude problem. He is rude, unresponsive and unwilling to do his work. He is either very unhappy working there or simply is an idle person. Why employ people with negative altitude.
