Econo Lodge Franklin

We stayed at this hotel on the first night and the last night of vacation. The two stays couldn’t be any different. First stay - there were a lot of druggie tweakers in the parking lot when we arrived. Screens were out on the first floor and you could see the people in the rooms dealing drugs to the people in the parking lot. We pulled into the lot and we didn’t want to stay here. We were afraid to leave our expensive gear in our rooms to go eat. The room was outdated and dingy. Pillows and towels were awful. But….none of our motorcycles were messed with. We were expecting the worst when we went to the parking lot the following morning but not a single bike in our group was tampered with. Second stay - our entire group was completely dreading staying here again. When we pulled in the parking lot, there were no druggies. All the screens were on the windows. We got a room on the opposite side from where we stayed the first time and had a really nice room. Everything worked and there was a blow dryer. I’d swear it was a different hotel, NOTHING was the same as 6 days prior. I’d stay here again if I knew I’d get the good section of the hotel. Great location with gas and restaurants near by. I’m not even sure how to rate this hotel since I’d swear I was in a Twilight Zone episode because what we experienced on the first stay was the opposite of our second stay.

Pillows and towels were awful. But….none of our motorcycles were messed with. Our bikes were broken into where we stayed the other 6 days in NC so I gotta give some positive remarks for that. We were expecting the worst when we went downstairs to the parking lot the following morning but not a single bike in our group was tampered with. Second stay - our entire group was completely dreading staying here again. We couldn’t cancel because there weren’t hotel rooms available in the area on such short notice. We stayed here for just an overnight on the road. The hallways were filthy, as in the carpeting was stained and hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. The back entrance was broken and unlocked; anyone could have walked in. The saving grace was that the room was clean and the beds were actually comfortable. We were too tired to find someplace else to stay, but I will never stay here again.

The motel is confusing there are 2 facilities attached together. There are alot of weekly residents hanging in the parking lot late into the night. Lamp shade has some surface mold beware if your sensitive to mold. Ok if your gonna get in late and leave early, beds were soft.

Prices are affordable, property was clean, no problems. Some residents where a little laud, but we manage. Front desk receptionist(manager) was rude at the beggibing when we arrived!! I was looking for information and early check in, but she told us that “was not even 3 pm, she was not ready to receive us” on a rude way!!

The Hall ways were very dirty and had supplies stored in an open area at top of the steps. The rooms were nice, although around edges of furniture was dusty. The beds are supper hard and make noise when you roll over. The front office personnel was helpful and friendly.

The only difficulty was a running toilet! Was taken care of. Service exemplary and courteous beyond belief! I'm a bit of a clean freak and found notably nothing dirty plus, beautiful room, sparkling clean bathroom, microwave, mini fridge, three mirrors and quiet.☺️

Close to restaurants and a cool out of town chill place with peace. No smoking rooms and the manager was rude. The first night my tv didn't work and they were rude about it. They made it seem like a big deal to switch me rooms the second night even though they offered.

A recently remodeled motel. Some things stayed the same like the doors and bathroom fixtures. However, the rooms were clean. The towels were clean and fluffy. The walls were a little thin but the staff was nice and you can’t beat the price.

The hotel was well located, facilites were provided relatively clean. Good stay for what it is.
