Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Winnemucca

Told the desk clerk I had trouble with stairs. It was a bottom floor, but had to either climb steps or park quite aways from the room in order to avoid the steps. Bathroom was clean, but looked dirty due to age of tub and caulking needing replaced. No maid service the full time of my stay.

I booked a single bed room. When I got there, they only had a two bedroom available. Whatever. The bed was uncomfortable and springy. I spent most of the night out in town and housekeeping banged on my door and then OPENED IT at 7:45 in the morning on Sunday morning. Like, really! 7:45? come on. Checkout is not until 11. I thought this was rude. When I checked in the afternoon before I told them my motorcycle would be outside of my room so they knew I was in there or just did not communicate that to housekeeping. Whatever. I won’t stay here again.

Needed a quick place to stay. Econ Lodge is normally decent, but not this one. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The floors were dirty. The trim in the bathroom was coming off. The property in general was poor. The sign saying the ice machine was out of order looked older than the broke down ice machine. There’s better options in the area.

shower did not drain. Took two days to resolve. Left the tub full of gunk from drain. Did not make up room that day.

Location and price.

I thought you served breakfast, but you provided juice and coffee only. The ice machines were down too! Not a big problem so I put my beverages in the refrigerator overnight.

Very clean & spacious, room had slight smell but overall very satisfied!

The lady who checked me in was very nice and accommodating. She had anticipated a need and made the necessary arrangements.

Convenient, easy on easy off freeway. We left our suitcase in the room and they were kind enough to hold it there till we went home a few days later.

The rooms need some major updating. Only 2 outlets worked. There is a plastic bag between the mirror and light fixture that is covering a hole. Room has wallpaper and they just patch the holes and never came back to finish the repair.
