Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Winnemucca

When I made the reservation I requested a ground floor room (I'm a disabled VET I have very knees) I was told the ground floor was sold out. There was no breakfast not even coffee. The stairs were not marked with any safety markings. This place allows dogs, the walkway on the upper level had dog poop on it. I could not wait to check out.

Office staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean but could use some updating.

Hotel very old! The room didn’t have wash cloths or hand towels, had to go to front desk to get them and there was no blow dryer in the room either

I stayed here two separate nights as it’s halfway from my home and where I was heading. First night was good. Check in was easy and all went well. Second night the receptionist was rude and didn’t seem to care much about issues other guests were having and basically told them “that sucks” she also was no where to be found when I came back in to tell them that the toilet in my room wouldn’t flush.

I rarely write reviews, but after staying here, I feel compelled to warn others. This hotel is a complete letdown and I a prime example of false advertising. The photos on the website are completely misleading, showing rooms and amenities that do not exist. The room we were given outdated, and smelled like mildew and smoke. The carpets were stained, there were holes in the bedsheets, and the bathtub was covered in mildew and grime—absolutely disgusting. What makes this worse is that I didn't even stay in the hotel because of these unsanitary conditions. I provided more than adequate photo evidence to Expedia, but they still refuse to refund me. Absolutely appalling customer service! Honestly, this place is a scam. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This place is nothing like what they promise online, and Expedia’s lack of accountability only adds to the frustration.

Our room smelt like dog pee and the bathtub was really dirty.

WiFi didn’t work. Filthy bathroom, old run down room. Window looked out onto a concrete wall about a foot from the window. Door jam had been kicked in a one time. Tub so stained and dirty I wouldn’t use the shower. Bed lumpy and uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money.

Desk clerk awesome. Facility not so much.
