I am currently jn the middle of my stay and first must note how wonderful the staff is here - friendly and genuinely caring. This is true of everyone we have encountered from the front desk, the bistro staff and housekeeping. However, I am genuinely shocked there is no magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Just unbelievably sexist. Moreover, housekeeping has no freestanding mirrors to provide to guests. I am having one delivered by Instacart so I can put my makeup on before attending a memorial service this afternoon. Also, a bit odd is that there are no notepads. The room has 5 small loose pieces of paper and a pen. We went out and bought a small legal pad. Quite peculiar and annoying.

If functioning A/C is not high on your list of priorities, this is the hotel for you. I travel for work so I know hotel thermostats work. I entered my room close to midnight and it was warm and muggy. Turned A/C down to 65, and after an hour no difference. Guessing it was around 75. So I packed up my belongings to go down to front desk to change rooms. My new room was even worse…zero cool air, just basically a fan that was a whisper even on “high”. Ugh. I noticed that many reviews said the hallways were warm…well, the hallways were way cooler than both of my rooms. Maybe I just had really bad luck, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
