Arpaiu - Odeyo Sas

At the moment we stepped in to the family room, it felt weird - many weird and unknown objects found in the room which were definitely not decorative items; many many holes on the ceiling which we didn't even know if there's hidden camera anywhere; a small side window which can view in from the street outside; and worst of all, a glass ceiling that anyone can view from the room above our level. It was extremely weird and uncomfortable for my husband and I to stay in the unit for 3 nights. Within half an hour, we contacted Expedia that we would want a refund as it is extremely uncomfortable staying in the room - our privacy and security is at stake with all the glass window and ceiling. To our disappointment, hotel didn't want to admit anything wrong with their room and refused to do ANY refund at all, yet complaint about our behaviour to Expedia - when in fact we didn't even meet anyone in the hotel, and left the room in ready-to-be-rented-out condition. End up we last minute booked somewhere else and left the room empty for 3 nights without being able to get a single cent back. DO NOT EVER BOOK THE FAMILY ROOM!

Arpaiu in Manarola was beautiful. It had an incredible view! We relaxed on the rooftop terrace and enjoyed the amazing scenery. We had two rooms. Both were very clean. It looks like it must have been remodeled recently because it looked very nice. The property manager, Tania, was lovely and very easy to work with. She let us leave our bags there on the day we checked out so we could enjoy the cliff jumping and swimming in Manarola on the day we checked out. Also, I had an issue when I first booked and needed to change something and the owner was very kind, responsive and generous. If I were to come back to Cinque Terra area, I would definitely stay here again. I absolutely recommend this property!

Spectacular views of the area.

The room had a stove but no pots or pans. Very close to neighbors. Would not do for more than a quick rest.

Our host Tatiana was lovely and very helpful. We were arriving later in the evening and she texted directions to the property that PERFECTLY guided us in. She also happily accommodated our request to keep our luggage while we explored after check out. The views from our apartment were amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here!

A wonderful place to stay for vacation

We stayed in the basement room. We arrived late to the following conditions: 1. The back door to the outside from the bedroom was open & unlocked 2. The house smelled as if they were trying to cover the smell of smoke and mold with a strong air freshener 3. There was a plug sparking and emitting flames all night 4. The power blew in the middle of the night because that outlet finally broke 5. The bed and pillows were damp and had a bad smell 6. The fridge broke and created a puddle, ruining the food we had inside and getting my luggage wet 7. The hotel worker did not believe me when I called and even documented the issues with video evidence They eventually offered me a different room in the same property after gaslighting and saying I was wrong, and then the housekeeper stormed off when I declined, choosing to move to a safer and cleaner location that was less convenient for our plans
