Red Lion Inn & Suites Olympia, Governor Hotel

There were multiple people doing hard core drugs within 25 ft of the entrance did not feel safe. Stay was cancelled due to no air conditioning. While looking for a different hotel which I never found I was warned to stay away from your hotel. I feel like I dodged a bullet

AC has not worked for two years. Over 80 degrees in room

There was not much to like about this stay

We were there for 4 days and not once did room service come to clean room had to ask for clean towels every day there was no ac and we were not notified until check in and they gave us a dirty box fan for the room didn’t help much it was high 90s the whole stay smh offered to refund and we could find another hotel but refund would take a couple days if we would have know ahead of time could have accommodated that prior and the facilities were dirty walls were nasty and bathroom showers were falling apart horrible stay but didn’t have a choice at that point due to poor communication

Good location, nice view of the lake. Breakfast is fine. Staff helpful. Fairly clean.

No AC in summer meant we were baked. No bathroom fan. Opened the sliding door to survive. Rooms are really worn out.

No breakfast offered. AC not working. Shower stall unusable. Insufficient wash cloths and hand towels.

Everything except the staff; they were friendly and helpful. Simply they were unable to change the circumstances. Reserved via Booking.com, even they did not inform us of AC not working. Neither did the Red Lion Governor Hotel even though I had directly contacted them and the AC had already been out for two+ weeks. Booking.com should have known that and forewarned us.

The AC was out (and had been out before we checked in) and no one told us. We were there for 3 nights and it was so hot we couldn't sleep. Had we known at check-in that we could have cancelled and found another place, we would have however no one made us aware of the situation. After complaining to hotel management, they did discount our stay, but it didn't make up for the fact that it was a hot, uncomfortable stay.

The price and location were fine.

I was advised only when I arrived during a heat advisory that the AC was broke with no likelihood of a fix. I was also advised booking.com had known this for two weeks. I also asked to see room before making a decision. I was given a key to a room not matching my reservation. For schedule reason I changed to one night to avoid worst of heat. I was given key cards that didn't work.
