From the moment we entered in to the premises it was refreshing. The ambiance was beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. If you are looking for a place to relax and have a calm stay, this is the ultimate place. Food was great overall this is one of the best from cinnamon collection. Will definitely visit more and more.

Honestly didn't expect to feel this comfortable at a hotel. Cinnamon Bentota Beach has this warm, homey vibe that's hard to explain. You just settle in and instantly relax, like you've been coming here for years. The staff are genuinely lovely. Not that scripted "welcome to the hotel" kind of friendly, actually friendly. They remember your name, they check in on you, they make you feel like a guest in someone's home rather than a room number. And the architecture? Stunning. Geoffrey Bawa designed it and you can feel the genius in every open space and natural breeze that flows through. It's elegant but never cold. As someone from Sri Lanka, I'll say the food spread genuinely impressed me, and that's not easy to do. Fresh, generous, and packed with flavour. Breakfast alone is worth the stay. If you want somewhere that actually feels good to be in, not just looks good on Instagram, this is it.

Cinnamon Bentota, you amazed us again! First visited in 2025 May, right after our engagement, both me and my wife were amazed; the way we were welcomed right at the entrance, the way we were valued as guests, it was not something we had experienced in this level... Fast forward to 2026 - April, The same welcome, same warmth and value is still here, and that itself is a testimony for the great level of service you maintain. This time, even though it was a corporate getaway, you still held the same quality, the check-in process was smooth, and the rooms were well-cleaned, exceeding our expectations... Buffet, even more improved this time, and special shout out to the mud crab dishes, simply tasted splendid! Located right next to the beach adds more immersiveness to the getaway, and the view, breathtaking! The thing I love here is how every one of the staff smile graciously whenever we see each other, that alone makes the experience a spectacular one. Thanks to the mangement, staff and everyone, continuing to provide the same excellent quality of service... Looking forward to many more getaways at this hidden gem...❣️

The swimming pool water is HOT. Not warm, not cool, it’s hot. A cooling system would be great.

It was such a delightful experience. Everything about the property was amazing, the location, property amenities, beach, pool, restaurant. Service was world class. You should get better photographers to click better photos of your property as we felt the booking.com and agoda photos don't do justice to the beauty.

The breakfast selection was great and time slot adequate to allow for early starts or a lie-in. Pools and access to beach were great.

Was disappointed with the Seafood Al a Carte Restaurant. Over priced, over cooked, and small servings (food and wine). TV's in both rooms needed to be fixed by staff as not working when arrived.

We had a wonderful short stay at Cinnamon Bentota Beach with our family. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, making it easy for us to unwind. The swimming pools were beautiful and perfect for both adults and kids, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay. We also appreciated the efficient and smooth checkout process, which made our departure hassle-free. The food was delicious with a good variety to choose from, and the service throughout our stay was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. Overall, it was a memorable family getaway, and we would definitely love to visit again.

Mis Meena front office, Assistant f&b manager Roshan,Restaurant manager Hazar ,Lasan, Their hospitality was top-notch and made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout the meal.took excellent care of us and ensured all our needs were met with warmth and professionalism.Highly recommended for both outstanding food and impeccable hospitality!
