Star Hotel

Lovely location, fabulous breakfast, good value for money.

No WiFi and limited opening hours for adjacent pub to get meals (other than breakfast).

Breakfast was nice but tea was cold by the time you got your breakfast.

Dogs barking at 7am in the next room. Web site didn't tell me hotel was only open Friday Saturday and Sunday for meals or drinks a bit of a con.

It was more of a room without the hotel services because the hotel is now only open at weekends and we stayed on a Monday. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. Not much else to say.

Good price, close to where I was focused on, good instructions.

Barking dog next door, whenever I arrived or departed - obviously temporary, so won't affect later renters - and no-one in the hotel itself ... 🤔

Staff very welcoming.

The atmosphere in the room was difficult because of excessive air freshener. I had to remove the duvet and use a blanket because the duvet was so saturated with air freshener
