Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Denver Airport

I booked the hotel because of a cancelled flight late at night. When I arrived at the hotel they said that they would not honor my reservation because it was after midnight.

Was nervous to check in with just my toddler but the staff was great and the airport shuttle was excellent

They didn’t have a room for me. In the end they overbooked by a massive amount and many families were turned away at midnight with no where to go after replying on their booking.

Elevator was out. Getting a bit worn.

good staff, standard rooms. Only issue was the strength of the wifi. We were on the first floor and I had to tether to my phone for enough power.

Didn’t even get to eat bc we weren’t able to stay even though we had booked months in advance and had already paid.

My mother called to let the desk know our flight was delayed 2 hours in ATL before arriving. They told us no problem and they would be waiting on us since our flight arrived after midnight. Upon arrival, they told us that they didn’t know what we were talking about and the hotel was sold out. We had no notice before getting there and we were told all rooms were sold out and overbooked even though we had already paid months in advance! They gave us zero accommodations and left it upon us to figure out our arrangements. Mind you this was at 3:30AM-

Hotel was nice and clean. The service at check in was poor. There were about 6 families waiting to check in and they only had 1 attendant on duty. The elevator was also out, so that could have been why she was in a bad mood. We were not welcomed as we approached the counter. I asked about the elevator and she said it was not working, but never provided any information about its expected repair. I ask for a ground floor for my 80+ parents and were told none available. The elevator did get fixed, but the lack of information and unfriendliness from the 1 staff member made the start of our stay lousy. We asked about the shuttle to the airport and there was none available or the first 1.5 hours. We had to use Uber or miss our flight. If you offer a service it needs to be available or advertise it to be first come first serve to set the expectation or the possibility you won't be able to use the suttle depending on the number of people needing it. We also had to request more towels. If the room sleeps 4, you should have 4 of towels and washcloths.
