Hampton Inn & Suites Santa Ana/Orange County Airport

We had some ants in our room, along with a tub that wouldn't drain, but they promptly moved us to another room on the same floor. Everyone was nice. The maintenance acted in a professional way and was able to fix laundry machines that weren't working at the time. Would come again. Thanks

The staffs were great, breakfast was good, we had to change room due to the existence of ants in room 121, then we also found ants in room 429. Not only in the hotel but next door building constructions created noise causing loss of sleep. Expedia charged us for parking while it was free at the hotel and still not received credit for it!!!

So they are currently in transition to a Marriott property and work is being done on the rooms and building but what I saw is pretty bad work, the wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, there is paint all over stuff, the doors don’t shut because of so much paint and they are not level almost got stuck in the bedroom, we had ants in our room on the bathroom sink, outlets that did not work, unfinished tile work, holes around the sprinkler systems in the ceilings the furniture in the rooms do not seem to be built very sturdy and moved when you used them, the headboard vinyl was all worn off from cleaning it, the pool is not working or open and one of the elevators is not running, our bathroom floor looked like it was never swept we as well and the light switches in the bathroom were not even in the wall right it was half way out and my husband is an electrician and was wondering how someone ok’d it, the staff we talked with were very nice no issue with them but they need to have someone come out and do some quality control inspections on the upgrades that are being done because it does not feel very Marriott like, we only had to stay for one night as we were up there for my nephews lacrosse tournament but I’m glad that’s all it was, I will not be booking a room there again

The room smell really nasty, our shower door wasn’t working so when we would shower, all the water would come out on the floor. We had maintenance come the next morning and he couldn’t even fix it. The next day I asked to switch rooms again because the first room we got didn’t smell so good. She told me I couldn’t switch rooms because they were sold out and I told her what about my shower door? she shrug me off. I paid 300$ for a hotel that smelly and for stuff in my room not to work.

The location is perfect for my needs, the room was good but the TV kept shutting off every 20 mins, that was annoying. all around great value and friendly staff!

Air conditioner doesn’t work really good. The TV doesn’t work at least in my room. I don’t know if the other rooms I am experience was so bad. Food in the morning not good

Very clean and quiet

The room was okay for the price. Parking was pretty bad considering you have to pay 20 dollars for it. They had two rows of parking which definitely was not enough. Three parking spaces had cones blocking them for reasons unknown. The only extra parking is in the next hotel parking lot which we were advised not to park in. The room was clean but very bare. The tv in our room did not work and the bathroom had no additional things like q tips. Over all it was a quick stay for us but would not have stayed past one night.

My experience was not great but it wasn't bad either. Parking is limited here and I had to park across the street. Also they gave me a room that was already occupied as well but then put me in A different room. Overall was not bad and they fixed the issues but was inconvenient
