After a day of traveling from Tilburg it was so nice to check into the Ibis Caen Centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean and a nice sized bathroom. I enjoyed the breakfast that was included in my reservation. The hotel, I feel, is in a nice central area of Caen. I am going to coming back to Caen again soon and I will look to stay at the Ibis Caen Centre once more.

"Good location"

We stayed here as a base for touring the D Day Beaches. Perfectly located for this purpose and also the centre of Caen. The hotel was clean although general decoration was a little tired. (Also a strange smell in reception). Breakfast was reasonable but restaurant wasn't open every night of our stay. This wasn't a problem for us but could have been for others as the surrounding restaurants were very busy and you struggled to get a table if hadn't booked. Overall a pleasant stay

Comfortable but basic. Complementary coffee would have been welcome after a long journey. The BBC channel didn't work. The breakfast was excellent. Staff very polite

"standard ibis, reasonably comfortable."

This is a standard ibis, i.e., the room has modern furniture, is reasonably comfortable, not very large. The only inconvenience for me was that there was no electric kettle in the room, so no chance of heating water for coffee or tea, and also no fridge. But the room had air-conditioning, which was nice since the days of my stay were hot and humid.
