Red Roof Inn PLUS+ University at Buffalo - Amherst

The entire room was dirty and didn’t look like pictures. Bugs in room. When I left I was covered in bug bites or bed bugs. I was only allowed two towels when there were three people in the room-the front desk person lied three times about giving me more towels and then finally stated he would only give me two towels if I exchanged the two I had. This made me late for my aunts funeral I had flown in from out of state to attend.

Decided to upgrade to get the “upgraded linens”and the “free snacks” which is advertised when you book. Got to the room and the room looked ok nothing special. Not the cleanest. Mirror was streaky and dirty. The shower towels had dirty marks on them. I’m not sure what they classify as upgraded linens as the comforter had a burn hole in it and wasn’t the cleanest looking. There was a sticker on the fridge in the room that said to look inside for your free snacks. No snacks in the fridge. Went to the front desk to inquire and she told me they don’t do that there. Meanwhile theirs a big poster in the front desk area stating if you upgrade you get free snacks in your room. I would not recommend this place and would not upgrade for the upgraded linens or the free snacks as both don’t exist. Very disappointed with my stay to say the least.

Phone did not work, bed cover had a stain and the room had a very strong cigarette smell (it was supposed to be a non smoking room), overall it's ok for an overnight stay.

This hotel is in a very convenient location with lots of food and stores around. However, it is VERY dirty. The floors you can tell are never vacuumed or cleaned. I always keep my shoes on and good thing I do because I was crunching on something under my feet. The bedsheets had visible stains on them of various shades and colours. The bathroom is equally as dirty and very tiny. The door only had the twist lock and no second precaution which made me nervous of course. I won’t be staying here again.

There was garbage all around the property both outside and in the hotel; also ants in the hotel around the garbage laying all over. The hotel room was messy & dirty. Whoever painted the walls & room left dried paint splatters & spills all over the carpet, walls, counters, bathroom, heater, etc. we I’ll never stay here again.

Very dirty - staff member who checked me in did not say two words other than to ask me my name.. alot of unsavory characters around

Dirty, poorly taken care of. Do not bring your family here.
