Econo Lodge Cedar Rapids South

The actual hotel is bright orange in color. Tacky. The hallways smell musty and Smokey. The fixtures are not new and have holes and marks on them. Decor is not pleasing. The air conditioner was in good working order. Has all needed amenities. We chose this hotel because of the price and they accept dogs. I would probably not choose it again. They do require a $50 deposit on your credit card which they reemburse in a few days if there is no damage.

The staff was freindly and accommodating, but the room needed repair and the hotel was very noisy.

The entire facility is disgusting. The rooms reek of cigarette smoke and people were smoking weed in their rooms so the hallways reek of weed. Our sheets had cigarette burns all over them. The best part of our stay was when we checked out. If you’re a smoker then this hotel is for you. If you’re not a smoker don’t stay here. My suitcase and all of my clothes stink. I couldn’t even bring my suitcase into my house when we returned from our trip.

It's an older hotel. Whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. Room did not. Internet did not reach my room. Tv wouldn't work. Direct tv couldn't acquire menu. Lot's of random guys sitting around outside made me nervous. I guess they were construction workers thst their company rents rooms for. The people that worked there were great and very helpful. The room itself was nice and clean.

Shower in room 121 did not work at all. No plug for tub so I went to Walmart & bought my own tub plug so that I could take a bath.

So noisy drama slamming doors all night I will never stay there again

They charged me for the room. I paid Expedia for the room. They said they were not affiliated with Expedia. This room cost me twice as much as it should half.

The tv didn't work half the time. Had to keep turning it off and on to get the picture to come in and when it did had to keep turning it off and on to get sound. Neighbors were loud. Had their tv up loud. The halls smelt like weed. People were talking about a drug deal by the vending machine.

Was totally not acceptable for service. Floors dirty, bathtub filthy. Only 2 towels on room. Exhaust fan rattled all night. Mold on shower wall in crevises n around tub surround. Will not stay again . We traveled for family function from Arizona.

Was booked wrong room and staff was rude. did not stay
