Holiday Inn Express Mesa Verde-Cortez by IHG

Renovation work being done does interfere with the enjoyment of the stay. Although this is not the fault of the staff, I feel we should have been warned about the renovation as we booked in advance.

The property was being remodeled and made things a little dirty and uninviting.

Hôtel en travaux à notre arrivée ( hall d’entrée ) Très poussiéreux, des outils, de la peinture , un échafaudage…. Rien d’idyllique ! Chambre mal agencée avec lavabo directement dans l’entrée de la chambre et en dehors de la douche et des Wc … De plus, chambre très sombre Donc un hôtel en travaux , poussiéreux payé au tarif plein, c’est très moyen … Sans parler du local de préparation du petit déjeuner qui etait aussi en travaux et particulièrement poussiéreux

Not much other than the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Rate was low end.

Most other things. Hotel was old and they were renovating which we were unaware of until we got there. No common area, plaster dust everywhere. Juice machine at breakfast was not working - didn’t put a sign on it nor did they provide juice in a jug etc. Disappointing.

The location is good.

The hotel was under renovation so that it was kind of messy. We arrived early so that we were assigned the 1st floor. The curtain was old and broken.

An enjoyable stay despite the hotel going through a refurbishment. Friendly staff and good sized comfortable room.
