The Colonnade Hotel Back Bay

Great hotel, friendly and super helpful staff from front desk, restaurant and housekeeping I would definitely recommend if you’re spending a few days in Boston. Only downside was parking cost but to be honest the hotel has a great system for parking using the room key to get in/out and most of Boston is expensive anyway.

Excellent hotel and service ,which is rare ti find nowadays, every single staff member I came into contact was professional and friendly . This hotel is in an excellent location with bright airy rooms and comfortable bedding

The Colonnade was our venue for our September 2025 wedding reception. The entire team was so attentive, responsive, adaptable, and friendly - from the planning process, to our check-in experience, to the servers and bartenders in the Huntington ballroom throughout the event. Our hotel block was easy to plan and all our guests really enjoyed their stays, commenting how everything was top-notch. I cannot give enough thanks to Geena, she was with us every step of the way and helped us navigate planning such a large and meaningful event. She ensured every detail was remembered, was so attentive throughout the year leading up to the big day, and was a true joy to work with - for us and our team of vendors. She helped us and all of our guests feel welcome the entire weekend. Wedding planning is a big task to take on but it was great to not have to worry about many details because I knew I could count on Geena! Chef Nick was wonderful to work with from presenting our tasting and sharing stories behind his delicious recipes, allowing us to use the Rooftop Pool for our first look photos, working with us to customize our menu and dessert table, and stopping by during our meal to make sure everything was how we wanted and more. The food and service was simply outstanding and the Huntington Ballroom was a beautiful and elegant space. I cannot recommend hosting an event at The Colonnade more - the level of care we received from the initial inquiry to the day we checked out was unmatched and we can't wait to visit again.

The Colonnade Hotel charged customers a $US30 plus tax so-called "Facility Fee" when you stay there, even if you have a pre-paid booking. This fee is a complete rip-off and should be part of the hotel rate. Hidden fees like this are disgraceful and persons should be aware of this before booking.

Very friendly staff, nice room and very good housekeeping service. The hotel is well located , next to Prudential Mall and Newbury st. Subway station also easy. We have been during Halloween. All smooth and quiet. Rates could be lower but worth it.

We loved everything about The Colonnade!! The location is perfect. The staff are WONDERFUL and accommodating and they have free on site parking which we needed. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!!!

The front desk staff (Aidan) was exceptional and made us feel welcome to be staying in your hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and bright. The room service was prompt, and the staff was very polite and helpful.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Colonnade for our first trip to Boston. But one person made the best impression on us. It was Norman, a front doorman. He was very helpful and always greeted and welcomed us back to the hotel. Be sure to look for him and say “hi” for us. He will take good care of you!

Mr. Aidan Juan Alexandre was excellent very helpful. We love the Colonnade would like to come back Oct 24-28, 2025 if prices were reasonable. Our room was comfortable spacious. Lobby beautiful and location excellent
