This is a nice hotel. Centrally located, over looking the old prison and castle. It’s a typical modern business/tourist hotel but for all that clean, quiet in the rooms, friendly staff and quite nice food for that night you can’t venture out. Just opposite behind the castle is a whole courtyard of cafes and bars, Namaste would be my top tip for food. The Jolly Farmer is 50 yards from the entrance. A quaint old pub, characterful inside and with a pleasant outside area West gate shopping centre has a huge car park and is 5-10 minutes away depending how fast you walk The city centre is a short walk before you A nice place to stay

Regular business/tourist hotel; staff all friendly and helpful; rooms clean and comfortable and quiet; Food available in bar and morning breakfast, very nice indeed.

Not so much didn't like, just things that could be improved - beds could be more comfortable (go and see the Premier Inn!), and the bar area - although staff and food all nice, no attempt to give it any character or break up the space, basically a big, open canteen.

Location, staff and comfortable. Staff are friendly and care about guests. Breakfast is really good.

The toilets were strangely attached to the wall, and the basin/toilet unit was moving up and down, which made us feel unsafe. We raised our concern with the hotel, and they kindly upgraded our room and resolved the issue. We were happy with how it was handled.

Great customer service! Front desk able to check me in early after a long international flight. All the staff I interacted with were professional and courteous. Great location! Walking distance to amazing sites. Great breakfasts! Fueled up on delicious breakfasts before full days of exploring Oxford.

Close by to center of town . Clean and well kept

The bathroom privacy was terrible. Glass walls with big door gaps. No problem for a single traveler but lacked privacy another person in room
