"Good staff, bad timing."

The staff was helpful, my son forgot his goggles and they offered to let us borrow a pair for him to use.

There was no indication that the hotel was under construction and that parts were closed off.

"The view of Lake Superior was good. Saw the smoke on the water in the morning."

Room had a great view. Saw the smoke on the lake. Awesome. Close to Bentleyville.

There was a family by us and they let the kids run up and down the hallway. All afternoon, night and again in the morning. I sent a complaint text.

Room itself was nice and location in Canal Park Duluth is good.

Hotel was totally under construction which we were not made aware of. The whole lobby was under construction so we needed to check in in a hotel room, so weird. The degree of construction going on honestly donโ€™t think they should be open. Asked for an upgraded room due to the construction and they said that would not be possible as switching to a different room isnโ€™t easy for them to do - strange experience all around so will not stay here again. Highly recommend Canal Park Lodge a few hotels down, we have stayed there a few times before and such a better experience - great staff, breakfast and place to stay so will go there again next time.

The staff was very nice and accompanying and the pool facility was very clean.

You can tell itโ€™s older. The carpet was worn through to the bare floor in places but the location was wonderful.
