Wyndham Garden Conference Center Champaign - Urbana

Requested a room with Queen bed. Lobby guy said didn’t have one available. There were literally 3 cars in the parking lot. Elevator was out of order , apparently has been for months. The bar and restaurant were closed . Pool was very dirty . So didn’t risk catching some skin infection. Room was not vacuumed well and no hand soap in the bathroom. You have to go outside to access rooms through a door that is not locked and unsafe for guests. Stairway is nasty garbage on steps. Peeling pant and rust everywhere. Hallway to rooms smelled horrible. The photos on the web site must have been taken by a Hollywood fiction photographer. They know the issues, but it’s obvious they just don’t care. Wish I would have read some of the reviews before booking. Lots of the same complaints.

This was clearly a conference Wyndham location -- but one of the worst shape I have ever seen for this type of hotel. The conference area looked great but the guest room was awful. The place looked abandoned when we arrived and the grass had not been mowed as had the surrounding properties. There is more but won't go into it.

It seemed sketchy. We had to make sure everything was out of cars. They had signs all over that they weren’t responsible. The elevator didn’t work so we had to carry all our stuff up the stairs, which was a lot because we had to empty out our vehicle.it seemed like a great hotel back in the day.

Needs updating and even the updated areas were done cheap. It was already falling and bubbling on the walls. Beds were uncomfortable

Very unclean. Items from last guest still in shower. Noise and talking in hallway outside our room most of night. Elevator out so the stairwell door was slamming frequently. The pool had no heat. The bed was clean so we stayed. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and the nicest thing the hotel had to offer.

This was a horrible hotel. The elevator was broken. Rooms were dirty, facilities run down. The pool was dirty. Finally, the roof leaked, so the stairwell was puddled with water. We had to carry luggage down wet puddled stairs.

The absolute worse experience I ever had

Outside security door broken, drug dealing in parking lot, stale smoke smell in all hallways and rooms, air conditioning non existent, got stuck in the one elevator that did not have an “out of order” sign on it. Pool also broken. Do not book a room!

There was dried urine on the rim of the toilet along with MANY pubic hairs. There was a dirty wash cloth on the desk from a maid cleaning prior to our visit. The air conditioner didn’t not work efficiently so we were hot and sticky all night and barely slept. In the middle of the night we had to leave the room and sit in our vehicle in the parking lot with the air conditioning just to cool down. Also, we had. I hand soap in the bathroom to clean our hands.
