Villas Sol Beach Resort

My suggestion is not staying more than four days, that was our mistake. The views are spectacular and I, unusual for a review of this place, enjoyed the hills and walking them. This place is simple and poorly organized. While everyone who worked there was phenomenally friendly, and we enjoyed them, working with the front desk proved difficult at times as they don’t have Systems in place. If you’re able to get a full unit with a kitchen, I suspect the experience is much better. We were unable as they were full. I cannot stress enough to avoid the buffet for anything other than breakfast. The bar as well has pretty poor drinks that are clearly watered down and using the poorest quality liquor and very few fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, we both had separate bouts of stomach issues (which is rare for us) from the restaurant and bar. That being said, the location, views, excursions offered by Oxygen near reception, and the staff were great. If you want something very simple and affordable it’s a good place. I do recommend multiple restaurants along the beach from the hotel.

I absolutely adore this property and will definitely be coming back! I feel it had everything I needed without needed to ever leave. The shuttle service was amazing, the beach you could walk to (but the shuttle will take you). They had a restaurant on the property, and a restaurant right across from the main entrance. A mini market by the beach. Pools, bars, jacuzzis. The rooms were very clean. I felt safe. I even took a few Ubers when I left the property. The view is sooo amazing. To wake up to that every morning was the highlight. The resurgent is also overlooking the view. It was such a peaceful and resetting vacation, with all you need to have a good time. The bed is my only con, it was very hard and stiff. But, I am still planning to come back!! For sure! Would recommend. Don’t think twice! And book a room facing the beach! It makes the entire trip worthwhile!

The room is spacious with a nice view, and clean , but the place is big and to go to the pool, beach or restaurant you have to use the hotel transport is a bit slow and most of the time take two buses to get there. Parking a little complicated sometimes there was no place nearby to park.

The villa has an owesome view, the most beautiful experience every morning was to see the beach, boats and yachts, beautiful buildings nestled among the greenery of the mountains. Is a breathtaking experience.

This hotel has gorgeous veiws regardless of which room you're in. The walk to the beach is doable, but there is a shuttle that comes by every 10 to 15 minutes to pick you up to and from the beach or reception. Buffet breakfast was great. Buffet dinner was good as well, but pricey! I ended up eating a burger at the bar one of the nights. Beds are rock hard and raccons will get into your room if you don't lock the slider properly. The resort is far from town, but if you're looking an all-inclusive resort close to the beach Villas Sol is perfect for couples and families.

There is lots of wildlife around the property which I loved. Staff was very attentive and kind. The view from my villa was exactly what it looked like online also . What I did not was the amenities in the room. There was no lotion, no shampoos - only a body wash that “was for everything”. There also was no face cloths or hand towels which I thought was odd.

The staff at this property is absolutely the best.

The property’s location is amazingly beautiful and unimaginable. It couldn’t be placed in a better location. What I didn’t like was others ignoring the request to not feed the animals. When the animals are fed they expect to be fed and when you don’t feed them they whine constantly. The whining takes away from a peaceful quiet meal.

Stayed at the hotel - with a view over the ocean. Was with a group of people - over 20 pers. Everything worked as it should and the personal was very attented to us. Tried both swimingarea and both worked well. The shuttel around the area and to the beach was welcomed. The beach is just wonderful! A lovely stay!

The villas are great for people traveling with families. Really enjoyed all the pool activities they offered. Tracy, Miriam and Diego were awesome and truly helped me and my family to enjoy our stay!! My kiddos and of course myself will miss you! Until next time! Hasta luego!
