Blackbeard's Lodge

Poor customer service, no peace during our stay. Staff neglected to let us know there would be construction on the direct wall outside of our room and bathroom, as well as an a/c unit swap in the middle of the day. Loud hammering, saw noises, nail guns, workers yelling and listening to music from 10am to past 5pm. Property Manager was not very helpful/friendly in the way of making it right. Also would not give me her name when asked. Pool was also pretty dirty.

Clean, cute old school lodge. Has a bed and breakfast feel to it. Would recommend the lodge for sure.

Too many stairs too small room

86yo building with noisy a/c unit and a dehumidifier in the room! No amenities and poor parking. Laughed when asked if we had been here before! Would never go back!

Clean , comfortable and close walking to everything .

Great location and loved the property.

Check-in and out was quick and painless, facilities were warm and inviting, the beds felt great, some stiffness but still soft enough to sink into a little bit. The lodge has some historic feel to it and is pretty much smack dab in the middle of everything, walkable distance to pretty much everything in the town. If I had to pick a gripe it would be parking but everyone knows parking is at a premium on an island, and there is enough available.
