The air conditioner worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The toilet seat was very loose, causing one to feel like it was a roller coaster ride! The sink faucet handle was loose, creating a guessing game of “hot & cold” when running water. No Kleenex were to be found, and the room had a combo “smoke & cleaning solution to cover smoke” smell. Additionally, the lobby reeked of smoke, due to the desk attendant spending most of her time outside the door smoking with friends. Honestly, the stay could have been much better, with more attention to the little things.
It would be nice to put some kind of breakfast(complementary) in the lobby, it doesn't have to be big. Should have closed circuit cameras spread throughout the roof.
Inexpensive
Nothing fancy and a bit dated, but inexpensive, clean, everything worked, quiet, and we slept well. Exactly what we were looking for--
I look forward to staying here each year when I come in for our class reunion. The staff always acts like they are glad to see me again, and the room is always clean and neat.
Little confusing on gps but i have stay here before. Could use some upgrades far as take out carpet and install some tile or laminate flooring.
Good room. Overall, great experience; however, having a smoking area outside of the lobby entrance is not the best thing. Especially when I can smell pot.
When we initially arrived there were weeds in the blacktop and smokers right outside the door. Walking thru the smoke was a real negative. However, inside the lady who greeted us was wonderful and very helpful. We had been traveling for several hours and needed a restroom. The public restroom was dirty. Fortunately when we got to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was cozy. The area was very quiet. This is an older motel with some issues but to us the important part was our room was clean and quiet.
Customer service is outstanding.
