The Angel Inn, Petworth

Breakfast was grand. Location super, and everything local for a lovely overnight stay.

The noise from the kitchen at "Silly O'Clock" was a factor. The heating was clunking at night as well. We were the very end room overlooking the courtyard and gazebo. We did not complain, as the room and service, and staff more than made up for it. But, I'd think about how this end room could be insulated more from the noise in the am!

Great location, well decorated, comfortable room, and excellent staff.

Bathroom was small. Needs a dressing table or at least a power point near a mirror. No shelf for toiletries in the small shower.

Dining tables had been scribbled on and were sticky Bed was too soft, kept rolling into the middle

Beautiful building, outstanding breakfast. Great location.

Very short staffed, Mat did not stop at breakfast time as he was the only member of staff on, I didnt see anyone else so everything (taking orders, making coffee and clearing tables was left to him). And the customer service and attitude of one of the evening staff needs to be addressed.

A charming inn set within Petworth. I was given a large room with generous bathroom.

It was slightly odd having to access the room at night via the pub’s ladies loo, but as that loo was not being used (the inn was closed on a Monday evening) it’s not really a problem.

Comfortable quiet warm room with great ensuite overlooking the pub garden. Friendly staff, great breakfast; Free parking Grade 2 listed building so mind your head on low beams.

Food was overpriced for what wad provided.

Bed was firmer than we normally like.
