The Westin Resort Guam

Hotel location and proximity to the beach was outstanding

Good big room and staff were helpful on arrival and during stay.

I booked an ocean front room but was later told I was upgraded to a larger room but only had partial ocean views. The handling of my rebooking due to a flight delay was made quite difficult even though I was part of a large conference at the hotel.

Staff was extremely friendly. What i didnt like was that things weren't always replaced or cleaned. For example, after i placed the robe with the towels, a new one never appeared. One of the hand towelswas missing on one day and it wasnt until the 4th day that new cups were put in the bathroom. Also, there were several places that were not cleaned. There was wgar looked like mold in the shower and either dried blood or something else near the tissue (Kleenex?) Again though the positive is the staff was extremely nice.

Beach

We stayed at the Westin in Tumon, Guam. The original room we were assigned wasn't quite what we expected, so I went back to the Bonvoy check-in area and met Jelen Solivio, loyalty manager. Jelen was so accommodating. She managed to find another room that gave us a great view of the ocean and a little more space. During our stay, she checked on us to make sure everything was okay. The food has been outstanding. Get the burger, you'll be amazed! AND the breakfast buffet is awesome. Jelen's positive attitude and "can-do" spirit were just what we needed after flying nearly seven hours. The hotel is a little dated, but Jelen's hospitality made up for it quickly. I highly recommend the Westin to anyone looking for accommodations in Tumon.

Cleaning staff overwhelmed the bathroom sink stopper didn’t work and faucet leaked the evening horderves and drinks on top floor was noisy and unpleasantly crowed with children running all over

I booked with breakfast and club house access, but the front desk told me it was not included. Later i figured my own that i should have an access and had to talk to the front desk to get them. No hot water, asked to change the room, and the hotel offered to downgrade from royal suite to queen suite or junior suite. Cannot believe what happened at this place. I believe all this is racial discrimination because usually asians cannot speak english and cannot talk it out to the front desk.
