Excellent location next to NICE Train station

GREAT location if travelling by train. 1 minute walk. 15 min walk to the beach. You need to take an escalator up to reception from the street. Our room on the 3rd floor, there is an elevator, overlooked their lovely pool. AC was great. No carpet, very small room. There might be cruise ship cabins that are bigger. Hotel has a bar and lounge area. Not great. Bartender advised us not to eat at the hotel. There is lots of food to be found nearby, even after 11pm. Uber eats delivered downstairs. It was fine for us (1 adult 1 teen), we stayed just one night. For the price, location and our duration it was fine.

Rooms are extremely smell for solo travelers. Bathroom I had to squeeze in. Sink was placed in an odd manner and toilet was difficult to sit in a very cramped area. Pool was nice and so was breakfast. Laurent who checked me in was cordial and had a nice personality. Price for hotel was a bit high considering the above mentioned issues.

Excellent stay, helpfull and friendly staff. Hotel right next to the train station, neighborhood is safe. Showercabin should be looked after, seen some pink spots that indicates mild dew. Breakfast, should have some attention for people with allergies like gluten, nuts etc. Overall a very nice stay.

Price

Pros : Very close to the gare de nice but don’t have much public transport next to the hotel. Their staff are very nice and helpful. Cons : There was no rubbish bin in the room. Hotel should provide a “do not disturb” door hanger since sometime client may not want to have housekeeping. It’s a bit annoying if I was in the room and busy with work but someone disturbed me

The staff are excellent and especially the reception staff who couldn't do enough for us when we needed to rebook due to the coronavirus.

The entrance to the hotel is off putting as works are in progress. The hotel itself is in good condition though some painting was going on. This did not effect our stay. The first person we met, Luca, was very helpful. He went well beyond what could reasonably be expected to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was nice. There were three English language news stations available. The hotel is almost in the train station but this was an asset as there was no noise from the station.

Perfect place. Really close to the train station. Room, however was too warm and the air conditioning unit barely worked.
