Sleep Inn South Jordan-Sandy

I was nervous about the ongoing renovation, but our rooms were clean and beautiful and comfortable. They even let us use the sister property for swimming and hot tubbing.

Sad that the pool and hot tub were closed, but we got to use their other facility and had a great time.

The room was clean, although a poorly placed motion sensor and mirror (which I was informed they knew) every time I moved in bed, the light turned on.

There was loud construction, the lobby was dirty and smelled of paint, they didn’t care about the problems. She politely said, oh ok.

Definitivamente los 3 días que estuve ahí no hubo agua caliente porque estaban reparando los boiler pregunté que si qué pasaba dijo el de recepción que al Día siguiente habría agua caliente pero no entoses tuvimos que bañarnos con agua fría los 3 días es algo desagradable por el Clima si desde un principio me Hubieran dicho la verdad hubiera elegido otro hotel ..

If you look at all my reviews then you know I'm honest and seldom leave what would be a "BAD REVIEW". Our stay in South Jordan - Sandy, Utah was a great time away from home for me and my wife but the room and facilities were not up to par. #1 - Had we known that the facility was being renovated we would have stayed elsewhere. Thank goodness we were away every day all day or it would have been horrendous. #2 - By 8AM the rooms above us were being hammered and beaten loudly. #3 - On February the 6th the water was shut off for hours, and the hot water was Luke warm at best. I think we were probably the only people there for our 1st night so hot water probably had to come from the other side of Sleep inn. #4 - We kept smelling something in our room each time we returned during the afternoons. Day 1 it was slight, but by day 2 it was very bad. We figured out it was a sewage smell from around the toilet in the bathroom. The bottom of the toilet was missing the tie down bolts on the left side and the small came from there. We ended up placing a hand towel around it and the smell dissipated after that. #5 - the shower door had no handle on the door, just holes. #6 - Please put new mattresses on the bed. In all sincerity that was the worst mattress I have slept on since we stayed at a horrible place in Macon, GA. The positives - The people running the front desk were absolutely professional and polite at all times. Our room was clean and decorated tastefully. The TV was fine and easy to figure out. We also had plenty of areas to plug in phones and such. Additionally, the breakfast was great and we enjoyed it each morning. Most of these problems were probably due to renovations being done, but we should have been made aware ahead of time or they should have stopped reservations. I would love to come back again after renovations to see if it has changed.

I was worried when I got to check-in as there was a sign up saying that pool and hot tub were closed due to renovation, and that was the main reason I had booked the hotel. But the very nice check-in clerk told me no problem, I could go to a neighboring hotel and use their pool, which I did. He put me in one of the recently remodeled rooms, which is very nice. Breakfast had a nice assortment of food, including hot options. Overall, it was a good stay and I'll be back!

No pool not listed as broken on website Under construction they woke us up at 7 every day. Having our walls and mirrors next to the bed shaking. Pounding on my kids door at 730 in the morning. Stepped on a screw while going down the stairs. No trash cans in the room. Ice machine also not working.

The Hotel is under construction so very noisy if you are needing sleep during the day.

We needed to book a stay for our grandson quite unexpectedly. The owner booked this stay personally with the utmost care to accommodate this need. The four days that my grandson stayed there were quite comfortable. The Core Values of this hospitality provider are unparalleled at this price point. We were very thankful that our need was graciously met.
