Hosts were very accommodating to check in/out times

The noise that travels from dinning area meant I had to go down at 11.45 and remind those guests that I couldn’t sleep even with ear plugs … I guess rooms are not sound prove .. this alone would prevent me staying there again .

The bathroom wasn't clean (shower and sink), white sheets on beds had multiple stains. Doonas were very small and in -7 degrees I got cold even with the heater at max. An option of extra blankets would be great. Unfortunately stayed at the same time as some pretty inconsiderate guests that let their children walk their snow covered shoes all the way up to the top floor making the carpet and the stairs wet and then they mistook my ski boots for theirs leaving me with child ski boots that were too small. While common sense should apply, maybe extra signage would prevent this from happening in the future.

Easy access to village plaze

No bathroom locks, loud outside noise, no heating control

The property was nice and modern. Approx 400m walk from the village so location was good. Given no reception, the staff online and via phone were very helpful.

The price for a tiny bunk bed room and ensuite was very expensive. The TV remote batteries were dead.

This place is perfect if you are only after skiing or snowboarding in Mt Buller. Pros: G level has a dry room to keep your board or ski gear overnight. Since there is no space in your room, you'd better leave all your wet gear in this room, and the next morning, you will have warm and dry gear. The owner is approachable via booking.com message. I asked to supply dishwasher tablets, forks, pots and pans, oven to be cleaned, and kitchen towel to clean the dining table, which arrived the following day. The room is warm and cosy. There was no Wi-Fi or Netflix, so we went to bed at 9 p.m. each night for the next day.

Cons : 1. 4PM check-in: We hired snow gear from Grimus, not knowing how far apart they were from Grimus and Kabuki. To beat the traffic and busy rush hour, we arrived at the mountain early but had nowhere to go. We had to carry all our bags and gear from Grimus to Kabuki. Then, at 5 PM, we had to walk back to the village to get food, which was getting dark already. 2. No on-site assistance: Supporting your guest remotely is tricky. The owner is approachable online, but I had to ask even basic stuff, which I thought should have been arranged beforehand. I do not want to be rude, but honestly, the kitchen was the worst kitchen I encountered in my recent travels. We used spoons to have bacon and eggs as there were only four forks. Dirty dishes and used forks were in the dishwasher, but there was no dishwasher tablet. One old tea towel cleaned up any mess. Empty tea, coffee, sugar bins. Rusty pans and all teflon-scratched pots - you can't cook anything in these. Eventually, it got better, but there appears to be no monitoring at all to check to keep the basic standard. 3. Beds: I used a bunk bedroom with my son. I can see similar feedback that some people couldn't sleep well. I think the mattress is very overdue for change. It is sunken in the middle. I am not that posh person, as I can sleep on the hard ground with a hootchie. *.This place could be way better if you sort out the basics.
