Great staff, great beer, great food

Quite bright. Could be slightly cosier feel in some area.

Lovely room, location was three mins away form Staverton golf club where my meeting was so that was perfect.

Room, staff were very welcoming. Lovely young lady helped me with my luggage up to my room. Third stay here, nicest room this stay so far. The continental Breakfast left was excellent.

Close to where the gold club is. I hear my meeting was. Nice & warm radiator & hot shower. Good breakfast left in room with pastries, milk, juice & cereal etc

Very noisy in the pub below. I stayed in the Tawny room & had stayed in there before but this time it was very noisy , I stayed on a Monday night. Not impressed with the chairs & tables being scraped across the floor in the bar below my room at 5.20 am with lots of noise. The glass bin lorry then collected the glass at 5.40 am , so not great. When I handed in my key,I could see that the painters/ decorators were in & behind the bar & dust sheets down on the floor, so that was the noise. But not sure why this was not told to me prior to booking , a message sent to me after booking,or even on check out. Not even an ask of ‘ how was your stay’ on vacating. I felt this was poor customer service.

Everything about the pub the staff was aboth and beond they were brilliant for catering for 15 of us food was excellent and really hot when served to us will be defiantly retuning also the breakfast was really good

Ideal location for our needs. All staff very friendly. Great breakfast.
