Great location in rural village, well appointed inn, with friendly staff. Great breakfast options.

No wardrobe in the room we were allocated- open hanging not the best for clothes.

clean and location

came down for breakfast to find the whole place closed!?eventually found the chef at the rear of the building who did a fry up ,he did very well despite it wasn't his job. horrible instant coffee no cereals etc.l have messaged the hotel and had no reply nor explanation. all very strange and not what I paid for so I wouldn't recommend unless you want to cook your own breakfast!

"A delightful village pub for a getaway!"

The Red Lion is an attractive village pub with rooms. The staff were friendly and welcoming and our ensuite room was spacious, airy, well furnished and was spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We stayed on a Sunday night, when the restaurant is closed, so we weren't able to sample the seasonal menu, which looked very interesting. We'll have to return to try it!

No criticisms whatsoever, we really enjoyed our brief stay
