Red Lion Hotel Kalispell

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

The only down side in the room was the mattress covers were not breathable and caused the bed to get hot and sweaty 🥵 I understand why this is, keeps the bed bugs away which is great. I just got hot. It would have been nice to have known ahead of time, like at check in that the pool was broken.

Too expensive. Really not a good value.

The lobby, breakfast area, and courtyard were beautifly decorated.

The carpets all looked old, dirty, stained, and in some places buckled. The carpets are in desperate need of replacement. The cleaning staff did not have situational awareness. A cleaning cart was parked outside my door and I had trouble exiting with two bags, a purse, and backpack.

Breakfast provided provided lots of options, from a hot meal to cold, quick grab and go as well. The coffee was excellent with lots of tables available to sit down at if you wished.

The building is showing its age, the carpet in the halls on the second floor are past their due date and should be updated. Furnishings in our room where clean however old with drawers that would not stay closed.
