Red Lion Hotel Kalispell

Would have been nice if the coffee maker worked, had to contact desk and wait until next day for one that worked, and then needed to go to desk to get get the coffee packs.

Breakfast was cold.

The reception is wonderful, kids enjoyed the pool area, and I love that it’s dog friendly.

Looks a little tired, half the mall was closed down shops, I can imagine in its day, this hotel was booming.

The staff was awesome. The hotel was clean.

The bed had a very wore feel to it, sunk into a hole.

Stayed here because family member was unexpectedly hospitalized, and the hotel is a great proximity to the hospital. Breakfast was amazing and the chefs who work the breakfast deserve a shout out. They kept it well stocked, when someone dropped the lid of a chafing dish, they were quick to come pick it up and take it away to be cleaned.

Blackout curtains would be a huge improvement. The sheer curtains let in a ton of light and were not at all conducive to getting a tired toddler to nap during the day. Also I prefer thicker curtains for privacy in general.

Central location to downtown Kalispell

Was on a family vacation.. were expecting to use the indoor swimming pool and sauna .. the pool area was closed for repairs.. stag had no idea when it was going to open again ???? The room, for the price , was spartan .. no pictures, no bedspread on the beds , no table or chairs besides a recliner in one corner of the room.. also had lightbulbs out in the lamps by the bed .. the free breakfast was nice.. but all in all wasn’t worth the money staying.. had stayed at the red lion years ago and it was a top notch place .. just seemed like it the property was getting run down
