Extremely hot

Room had a very poor outlook brick wall, it was not possible toupgrade. Very dissapointed that evening meal not an option, I believe that it had been offered the previous week for the TT. Had to use the facilities the rival Empress Hotel for evening meal each night. We however enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was well situated. The breakfasts were very good and staff very helpful and pleasent the use of hotel swimming pool a bonus (pity that sauna not now operational). Lack of entertainment and evening meal forced us to look elsewhere i.e Empress Hotel (pity).

Two false alarms on fire alarm during our 5 day stay.

Sea view room for myself was excellent, with wonderful changing views. One son's sea view room not as good and on a separate floor, but we had cut out his first nights stay. However 3 of us were close together. Atrium made an excellent additon. Hotel in a central location on the seafront where promenade has been tastefully redone and a joy to walk along.

The rooms were not seviced unless you stayed for 3 days. On arrival the female foreign receptionist had no people skills, giving poor impression. Afterwards all staff welcoming and helpful. Very little tourist information.

Great Location, great food and service. Highly recommend

Only downside was we didn’t know what the weather was like until we stepped outside

We arrived much later than planned due to a sailing cancellation and were greeted at 10:30pm by the smiling Federico! It was just the welcome we needed and he was very helpful getting us settled as quickly as possible. The room was very spacious with a lovely smart bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We had plenty of desk and seating space for working when we needed to. It was lovely to open the doors to the atrium and sit on our 'balcony' for tea and breakfast. Easy-ish to park (although note spaces are limited to less than 20, but we were lucky each time.) Excellent location for touring the island and some really good late food options nearby after a long day working (Marmaris for late night kebabs and Hot Wok for an excellent chow mein!) Unfortunately we didn't get time to use the pool or try the main restaurant which looked lovely, but we did have a few drinks in the bar which was hilarious with a drag queen performing (Sat night.) We also had a very friendly check out. All in all we would stay again for sure.

The hotel was very warm! Radiators on full blast in the corridors and the room was very hot too - grateful for the doors out to the atrium... We had breakfast one day but it was unfortunately very average with rubbery scrambled eggs and slimy mushrooms - I'm afraid the breakfast at Capone's up the road was much better! Neither of these things would stop us staying again though.

The staff were friendly and helpful.
