Location is excellent. You’re right next to bus stops, shops are a 1 minute walk away, the Atrium can be hot but when it rains you can sit on your balcony in total comfort. Breakfast is extremely good and I can’t fault the staff. I’d highly recommend.

The Atrium rooms can be warm at night.

"Excellent choice for us for a week long stay.😁"

8.0

Very near ferry terminal, shops and eating options. Food in onsite restaurant Bonsai was good and not overpriced. Did not have breakfast so cannot comment on it. Room was in Atrium area and enjoyed sitting on balcony. However room could become hot from the sun.

Pool was small and only 1.5 metres deep but due to sloping floor, was not ideal for swimming but did enjoy just relaxing the warm pool.

"A perfect place to stay in Douglas"

A great location in the centre of Douglas overlooking the promenade. The rooms are excellent, spacious, quiet and comfortable and we enjoyed having an internal balcony overlooking the atrium

"Faded glory, good location, some elements to consider."

7.0

We booked an Atrium room - so with a balcony into the well Atrium filled with plants. Perfect for sitting out in the evening and reading a book. The newly refurbished bathroom was spotless. Limited underground parking was available for £4 a day Hotel staff were always polite and helpful.

Sadly despite being built in the 80s, the Atrium room had no ventilation/aircon - only option was to open onto the warm Atrium, meaning it was stifling hot overnight. This was when the weather wasn't all that warm. The hotel like many I'm sure that are small business owned struggle to find funds and they do their best. The 'Norman Wisdom bar looked like a 90's nightclub but was popular. Breakfast was ok but not fantastic. Attending to the rooms only once every three days was ok, though they could have supplied more than a pair of tea bags for that time. The room was large but short of storage space - there being two desks rather than a desk and some drawers.
