Shangri-La Shenzhen

The pictures that are posted are probably when they first opened. The rooms are so small and outdated. I wanted to stay at a nice hotel and this wasn’t it. I had stayed in more luxury hotels that are not name brand that was better than this hotel. Would not recommend

Less than 10min walk from train station. Hotel although slightly dated is still excellent . Definitely value for money for a 5 star Shangri-la hotel.

Hotel has a long histoty in Shenzhen and was the best at it's time. But neighborhood area is a little not up to the trend, t il has some old fashion business and

They had constructions going on and didn’t alert me to it. Not only but that gave me a room right below where the work was done. So for 4 days, it was constant banging and hammering nonstop. Cleaners kept knocking on my door despite the DND sign. They give you 2 small bottles of water and expect tips for more bottles every single day. The staff don’t speak English which tough for even room service orders or asking for simple amenities. Overall, it really a let down.

It was a bit of a shock because when you walk into the hotel it’s all renovated clean beautiful big and fancy looking. It’s modern. However, when you walk in your room… it’s not as modern. The floor is all made of rug so it’s very dusty! The bathroom wasn’t that clean, it had some rust near the sink area … I usually feel like hotel with a shower-bath is less modern. Overall it was ok for the price paid. The location was good, it was walkable distance to a shopping and dining areas!

Location is superb just a few mins walk from Luohu The hotel has maintained well And love the big bed and room

The rooms are not that clean… it smelled a little bit moldy because the floor is made of rug material. Also, you cannot enjoy buffet during the week. Only during the weekend …
