Callaway Resort & Gardens

Spent 3 nights at Callaway Resort. The resort is beautiful, the azaleas were in full bloom, food was excellent and we enjoyed the walking and biking paths.

Toured the Fantasy in Lights Monday Night December 1, 2025. The Light Tour was Great. The restaurant experience after the Light Tour was not enjoyable. We arrived around 8:00 PM and chose to eat in the Cason Tap Room Restaurant with several other families. After we ordered the Male Bartender turned the TV's so loud we could not enjoy dinner. None of the guest were watching the football game except the Bartender. This Bartender needs to be replaced with someone who understands customer service.

During our stay, the main water line broke, so we were without most of the amenities. BUT, the staff took care of us. Provided us with meals and water (for free). Gave us an extra night free for compensation. Golf was awesome. Tripp (the manager) along with Lea (uncharge of the restaurants), and Crystal (front desk) were the best. What could have been a disaster was countered by the whole staff who constantly checked on us. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Callaway Gardens is a wonderful place to visit. We did get to go to many of the places there before leaving. Thanks to all for a great time.

The resort is great. The Christmas Light display is phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful. There's something for all ages. The staff is great

fantasy in lights were great. Accommodations in the villa we atayed in I would give a 3. Beds are tiny fulls and not comfortable. Living room chair bery stained.many child hazards. Balcony has a built in bench perfect for a major climb over fall to lower tiled floor. And concrete decorative balls placed on a glass coffee table. Lots of doors jammed and hard to open. No doshwasher soap provided. Stayed in a one level earlier that had bed issues as well.

Our family has been coming to Callaway Resort in Pine Mountain, GA for our reunion, and it’s always an amazing experience. We usually have around 40 of us, and the resort handles it perfectly every time. The cabins are comfortable, clean, and surrounded by beautiful scenery — perfect for relaxing and spending real time together. We always rent golf carts to get around, which makes exploring super fun for everyone, especially the kids. There’s so much to see — deer, birds, and all kinds of wildlife are everywhere. The golf courses are in great shape and really fun to play — challenging enough for the golfers in our group, but still enjoyable for everyone. Callaway Resort has that rare mix of peaceful nature and plenty to do. It’s become a family tradition for us, and we can’t recommend it enough

I have visited Callaway Gardens many times over the years. My last visit was a long time ago and a lot has changed. On a previous visit we stayed at one of the cabins that was on property and had so much fun we researched what was available now. To our surprise, there is now a lodge and spa on property near the cabins that we previously visited. It is a beautiful large 4-story structure with a large foyer, wood beams, large windows and a lake view out the back of the hotel. There is a two-sided fireplace as you enter with a cafe on one side and check-in on the other. Check-in was easy and pleasant. The staff was friendly. Most rooms are to the right as you enter. One of the 2 elevators was broken on our visit. Our room was very nice with a balcony overlooking the lake, a small kitchenette area with a small refrigerator and a microwave. The Lodge is convenient for getting to the park due to its location. The price was definitely more than other hotels in the local area but I think it is worth it for location in/near the gardens.

Callaway Gardens is the best!Went for the Pumpkins at Callaway and enjoyed every minute of it.Watched the sun set from a beach cabana,listened to good music,enjoyed the butterfly palace,loved the night time walk through,took so many pictures and are planning to go back for the Christmas Festival of Lights in Dec.

22 golfers from Peachtree City took their monthly golf trip to play golf at Callaway Resort on the Lake View Course. This was our first trip to play golf here for many of us. The course was in great shape but a little challenging. I would recommend that if are in the area of Pine Mountain, Georgia and a golfer, that you should make this a place to play. The food at the restaurant was outstanding and the service was great. We plan on making this trip again.
