Ventura Grand Inn

The staff, especially the manager Raji, is wonderful and helpful. The location is good.

The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The room looked old.

Everything was so dirty the bed smells so bad. Bathtub was dirty, the floor was dirty and a lot dusty and sticky.

The location was good for our trip. It had hot water, the door locked, heater functioned (although loudly).

Unfortunately the hotel was not a comfortable stay. It was fine for one night. It was on the cheaper end of Mammoth hotels ($280). The room had a worn look, the towel was dirty (make up and brown stain), the bathroom was rundown. The room had extra and mismatched furniture. TV did not work.

The location was great.

The owner. We stayed two nights and had a complaint during checkout. My girlfriend went spoke to the owner about the condition of the room and the owner said, “I don’t have time now to help you and I can’t help you.” He went on to say it’s new year’s and don’t ruin everyone else’s day.” I went back to the owner to ask him why he was rude to my girlfriend. He proceeded to be rude to me even yelling at me. He further went on to say that my girlfriend was a liar. I asked him to go the room with me and he said no. He also told me to never come back.

The general manager was really rude when we complained about the hair and stains on her bedsheets and the broken shower.

Shuttle stop conveniently located next to hotel.

Location good and pleasant staff

No tv and parking hard
