Chicago Marriott Naperville

Chicago Marriott Naperville was very accomodating for our team at the IHSA Soccer State Finals. Rachel was outstanding to work with and the hotel is spacious and met our needs. A restaurant and Starbucks made this stay very convenient and comforting.

Convenient to restaurants

This is about as an average of a Marriott as you can get. If you are looking for a romantic, nice, exciting get away - look elsewhere. If you are looking at a standard, middle of the road Marriott with nothing but meh, this is your spot. Don't expect anything above average, but it is reasonably clean and not worn out yet. So, the perfect business travelers place at a full Marriott pricing level. Service was average. Room was ok. Amenities were nothing noteworthy. The khaki's of the hotel business.

The hotel staff were polite, friendly, helpful and great at check in. Our room service staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and were so lovely. We had a negative experience at Sunday buffet breakfast, where we were seated at the end of a large table where there was clearly a large group sitting there. The restaurant was busy, but the staff seated us there. As I waited at the table, my daughter was getting breakfast when a man sat in her seat. I politely told him my daughter was sitting there, and the man next to him told me “too bad, we were here first, we are not moving”. I was quite upset by this and then asked to be moved to a different table. I would have preferred to wait then deal with difficult customers. Our room was nice. But we found the floor had not been cleaned well. There was broken plastic on the floor, a rolled up sock from the previous guest that had not been cleaned or removed. I strongly doubt the floor was cleaned. We also found a sea shell on the bathroom vanity. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night’s rest.

Good location.

Hotel is not so generous on providing the toiletries.

The loud music playing at 1 AM among other noises although the manager on duty quickly dealt with it
