Location is good and restaurants/cafes in the facility is convenient.

The property markets itself as a resort, but in reality it operates more like a standard hotel with very limited resort-style amenities. The pool is surprisingly small for the number of guests and feels inadequate for a property of this size. One of the biggest frustrations was the pool area management. Most of the front-row loungers around the pool were marked as reserved and unavailable to regular guests. In addition, there were only a few complimentary umbrellas available for everyone else, leaving many guests exposed to the intense sun. The loungers were also placed extremely close together, making the area feel crowded and uncomfortable. The staff work hard and are generally polite, but some practices felt intrusive. Employees repeatedly tried to collect guests' sandals and place them in a communal storage box used by hundreds of people, which raised hygiene concerns for us. We were also approached very frequently and encouraged to order additional drinks and services, to the point where it felt more like sales pressure than hospitality. The room itself was also disappointing. While the bed was comfortable and appeared clean, the carpet was noticeably dirty and had debris and stains in several areas. Storage space was extremely limited as well—the closet was so narrow that it was barely functional, making it difficult to hang clothing or properly unpack for our stay. Overall, the property did not deliver the resort experience that its branding suggests, and the pool facilities and room condition were particularly disappointing.

Had a great time! I would highly recommend staying here. The hotel is extremely nice and well kept. They have great food and service.

Amazing experience. Probably the best time we had the whole trip. Food was great, service was perfect, accommodations to my son’s picky eating was much appreciated, and he gave it 10 out of 10. Traveled from San Antonio to show him a good time and the visit was very welcoming and genuine. I was planning to come back again to the Bistro, but plans had changed. Appreciated what experience we were able to have. Staff and the time there as a whole was perfect.

Blake Bistro, as always, delivered great service and exceptional hospitality. Alex was my server, and I can’t stress enough how detail oriented and attentive he was throughout the entire experience. He made sure everything was perfect and consistently checked in without being intrusive. Easily one of the best servers I’ve ever had at a bistro. Thank you, Alex, for making the visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
