The hotel is nice, very clean; the pool is very welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. The corner rooms are a great option, offering extra space in the room and the bathroom.

The emergency door next to the corner rooms is very noisy, bangs very hard, and wakes me up a couple of times.

Solo la comida del steak house

El costo de todo no coincide con la calidad de las habitaciones, el hotel moody cuesta 3 veces menos y las instalaciones son exactamente las mismas , la única diferencia es estar cerca de la playa. Todo es cobrado no tienen parkeo para sus clientes sino que es pagado.

This review is for the bar staff. The ambience was great and we decided to eat dinner in the bar area. We have been ti Galveston but never the San Luis. If this staff is representative of the place as a whole then we will be coming back for sure. Sam and Wesley took great care of us. They did it with warmth and professionalism.Made us feel right at home. They even brought out a little bday surprise for me. The manager Amanda came over and made sure everything was to our liking as well. Great experience and example of the people making the place.

We had a GREAT visit, relaxing from start to finish. Easy check in and I love the room key wristband—for once I didn’t lock myself out of my room. We ate twice in The Grotto. On our first visit we both had the San Luis Veal. On our second visit we both had the San Luis Crab-cakes. Chloe, Conjetta and Brandy took great care of us. Second night we ate in The Steakhouse. We both had the shrimp stuffed with crab meat-delicious. For desert we had the best cheesecake ever and blueberry cobbler, also delicious . John Paul and Lazar took great care of us. Lunch each day was in Blakes Bistro. The Asian salad can’t be beat, highly recommend it. Abigail, Conjetta and Shakira took great care of us. Cup and Cone every morning for coffee and pastries. Noonday Bloody Mary at the Cove with Maddison and Jayden. I’m real picky about my Bloody Mary and they made a great one. Finally, EVERY NIGHT IN THE BAR with Liberty, Conner and Adrian. Our drinks were well made and never empty. Good to see John Paul is keeping Jerid busy. Upon our arrival and departure the awesome VALETS were much appreciated loading and unloading and parking our vehicle. We will be back in November, if not sooner.

The San Luis is beautiful and upscale. They are constantly cleaning and everything is beautiful. Pool wait staff are amazing
