We had a very nice stay. It was a great place to be with young kids. The breakfast every morning was very nice. We like that the room had a separate area with a pull out couch. The location was great for us, near the beaches and downtown area and not a far drive from all the tourist areas.

"San Clemente ROCKS"

Free morning breakfast was good. Beds comfortable. Never used the Internet. Ocean/beach is like 7 minutes away when your driving. The trolly will pick u up and take you to the beach or shopping.

Dirty, room walls have mold, dirty walls, dirty dirty bathrooms, all hotel smells like swap. Stay away! They scammed me of $800 I didn’t say one night and refused to give it back!

Very Noisy right by the freeway. No room to sit in the breakfast area. Hotel needed some TLC. Room was comfortable.

"Family Vacay"

Positive points:The check in process was easy and quick. Friendly staff. Appreciated the lemon water in the lobby. Our room was nice, had comfortable mattress. The breakfast had excellent coffee, pretty fair food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Negative points: The ice bucket in the room was dirty, and had a bar of soap stuck at the bottom. The sliding glass door to the balcony did not lock. The balcony needed some attention. Dirt everywhere. Metal chairs not inviting. The pool area had very limited area to use lounge chairs. Broken umbrella at the one available table. Table was dirty. The spa had quite a bit of mold on back wall.

This is an older hotel that has not been updated. However, it was clean and safe. Breakfast was wonderful. Felt it was over-priced at $383/night. I would expect to pay that for more of a luxury hotel.
