Comfort Suites San Clemente Beach

It’s the perfect low-budget place to stay in San Clemente. There are two trolley stops and a bus stop nearby.

Hotel needs renovations.

Updates are needed—new paint in halls/doors and rooms..new carpeting needed as well and new bathtubs or reglazing definitely needed..need better bath towels—ones are old and worn out—wish would get new towels daily given how old the towels were. bed was very comfy and the air worked—when air came on was a little musty—a/c units probably need deep cleaning done on them..orang juice was broken—wish would have put OK in a container for guests, but all in all for the value was a satisfactory stay

Hotel needs updating. Breakfast was decent. Parking was good.

The hotel is a good location for the state beaches access. It is an older hotel so the bathroom was a little odd with the sink outside of the toilet and shower room. The room with a king sized bed and pull out couch was a great sized room. The fridge was quite large and includes a freezer. We went to the pool, the pool furniture was mostly broken, but the size of pool was nice. They also have inclusive chairs for wheelchair access into the pool. The towels provided by the hotel for the pool are TINY. Breakfast in the morning was very nice and well kept. The staff were very kind and we were able to check in quickly with our room ready. They have onsite parking in the back which is a plus for the area .

This was the hardest hotel to check into that I’ve ever experienced. We booked two rooms and therefore they required two different cards to hold the incidental fees. The cards had to have 2 different names as well which meant I had to get my entire family out of the car to come in to see if my husband had a card with just his name on it. One of our rooms had a clogged sink and no hot water. The beds were rock hard as well. Upon leaving the entire hotel was swarming with police… there were 5 cars and even more officers. I don’t know what was happening, but all of the staff seemed uncomfortable and we’re doing their best to avoid any eye contact.

Nice place to stay.Been here once before.Staff is very nice.Rooms are spacious.Pool is relaxing.Only thing is breakfast should have more options.We will be coming back.

The room smelled like mildew and cigarette smoke and a strong perfume to cover it up. The WiFi was very slow and wouldn’t load. We checked in and checked out within 10 minutes and were not given a refund

Price was reasonable the neighborhood seem quite, safe

This is an older hotel that has had some areas painted somewhat recently, it looks like. Sofa bed mattress was very thin. Fairly small dining area for breakfast. Ok for being near the ocean, but it's not close to the beach. Have to drive to get there.
