Knights Inn Gallup at 3208 W Hwy 66

First, the address listed is wrong, it’s 3216 W, which is about 8 miles from the 3208 W listed. There are two Knight’s Inn’s on Rte 66, this one is on the right side if headed west. There’s nothing really wrong, but nothing outstanding either, about this hotel. It’s dated, and needs some work (bathtub caulking was cracked and falling off). The pool is closed, and looks gross anyway, they should drain it and clean the trash out of it. You can get a good night’s sleep, but probably not someplace to stay for more than 1-2 nights.

No one at front desk, there is a phone to call for check in. The heater was not working properly in our room, and the bathroom door latch was broken. Callled front desk , thankfully had another room available. Moved to that room which did not have a coffee maker. Coffee is available in the lobby, but it is terrible and had to call for cream and sugar. Bathtub had a patch over a large crack which we only noticed after waiting for 5 minutes for the water to get hot! There are repair patches in the ceiling of both rooms. Outside all the screens on the upper rooms were torn. The pool was closed. We ended up only staying one night instead of two after listening to the couple above us scream and bang around half the night. Definitely will not stay here again!

One of the most neglected properties I’ve ever stayed at. Refrigerator wasn’t working and smelled terrible, the toilet was installed completely in level, laundered but stained bed sheets (rust?), single hairs were found in bed and shower, and shower had used soap left on ledge.

Missing lights in bathroom fixture. Barely clean.No breakfast as advertised.

Hotel is run down. Online description said this hotel offered breakfast; only coffee offered. The manager appeared depressed, offered no assistance. Room was clean and location was near I-40 but other options were nearby.

Arrived a 2:00, no one there. Called there number, they were at lunch, not there. Told them I was a Gold member, never heard of it. I had business in Gallup and got back at 6:00, checked in, paid deposit, and given a room. Went to room and it was not made up. Had to chase the guy down the hall to get him. He was confused, but got another room. Asked about the indoor pool, closed. Asked about the breakfast, coffee only. 11:00 check out, told him again about Gold getting 2 hour late check out, had to pull up his website to show him. He didn't know, never heard of it. Anyway got done with my meeting early and checked out at 11:15. Went to drop off the key at front desk, the person there was playing a video game and didn't look up. Will see about my deposit back. Took pics of the room when I checked in, could use a good cleaning.

It was disappointing because the swimming pool was closed, no breakfast like it was describe on hotel.com . Also they gave me a handicap room even though I am no a handicap person with a broken door bathroom and falling lamp bathroom also the shower head and the handle were loose difficult to the a decent shower

Expedia says breakfast is included. There is NO breakfast.

For the price the hotel was ok. The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose and the toilet handle came off. Even though Expedia stated that breakfast was included, there was no breakfast at all. You get what you pay for. The price was good and the beds were comfortable.
