Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos

We had a lovely experience the spa. My daughter and I had a couples massage to celebrate her birthday and Veriko and Sita were very friendly and attentive. We left feeling very pampered and relaxed. Thank you.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos as a family with one child. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything was simply outstanding. The service was exceptional, the staff were genuinely warm, friendly, and always willing to help with a smile. Every team member made us feel welcome and valued. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained, offering something for everyone. The food was delicious throughout our stay, with a great variety and consistently high quality. Our room had a stunning view and exceeded our expectations in every way. What impressed us most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality shown by the entire team. It is rare to find a resort where everything comes together so perfectly. This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had, and we can confidently say that Olympic Lagoon Resort Paphos exceeded all our expectations. We will definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, despite booking a “side sea view” room, my room overlooked a car park. After contacting the hotel, they advised me that the room provided “matched the booked room category”. Not usually one to complain, however given the price paid to stay at the hotel and the distinct lack of a sea view, as well as the hotel’s response to my query, I’m unfortunately unable to give a 5* review.

arrived here after spending many years in paphos and visiting family, hotel is lovely and has been refurbished to a very high standard We had a swim up room in adult only area but the pool is in the shade all day so a waste of money, sunbeds are allocated on arrival se headed off to the pool hut to book some beds, was told all the beds were taken, so we asked about the main pool but as we had the adults only wristbands we could not book beds in the family area, told to come back 2 days later when beds would be available... not a great start considering there were empty beds all week that had been booked and not used - this needs to be monitored by pool staff food options were what you would expect of all inclusive nothing to write home about and the same most days - please avoid the poached eggs on 2 mornings i chose them they were cooked on top but raw underneath drinks - premium brands were not part of the all inclusive package they are additional costs The hotel attracts huge wedding parties, we stayed for 5 days and we saw a wedding every day and with that unfortunately comes loud drunken sunburnt people. We watched a show in the auditorium and the acrobats were heckled by drunken guests which was unacceptable but not one of the employees in the auditorium addressed this - this is another reason why this is not a 5 star hotel! Location is about 35 minutes walk to the harbour there are a few bars directly outside the hotel if you want premium drinks and an escape from the noise of wedding parties. Personally i wouldnt stay here again and wouldnt choose this hotel as an adults only option when there are much nicer options a few doors away

Při příjezdu nám bylo sděleno, že vzhledem k chybě systému náš pokoj není připravený a dostali jsme pokoj s výhledem na staveniště, na terase vedle pokoje byly venkovní jednotky klimatizace, takže jsme se prakticiky nevyspali. Recepční nám dokonce "nabídla" tento pokoj se slevou na celý pobyt. Poté, co jsme důrazně a hlasitě protestovali, jsme dostali slevu na první noc a náš objednaný pokoj. Nicméně místo užívání si dovolené jsme stěhovali věci do jiného pokoje. Druhý den jsem viděl stejnou scénu na recepci - recepční tvrdila italské rodině, že pokoj není nachystaný, a že si mohou vzít "levnější". O tři dny později to stejné s jinou rodinou. Po krátkém rozhovoru s oběma rodinami jsem zjistil, že pobyt jsme si všichni objednali přes Booking.com. Vyzývám tímto operátora Booking.com, aby situaci prošetřil a zajistil korektní přístup hotelu k zákazníkům.

This was our first visit to Cyprus and when we arrived at the Olympic Lagoon we had not even got out of our taxi when two of the hotel staff were there to greet us and take care of our luggage. Booking in was relatively easy and we were given a cold moist flannel to freshen ourselves up which was a nice touch. The hotel has just had a major refurbishment and our room was really lovely – As we opened the door the curtain automatically opened revealing the balcony and a lovely view of the pool and sea. My wife instantly fell in love with our room so we were off to a good start!!! - From there everything just kept getting better and better as the days went on as we explored and used the facilities the Olympic Lagoon has to offer. There are plenty of eating options, all excellent, the buffet restaurant was the main area, then there was the Rock ’n’ Roll café which was a taste of the past, they did brilliant milk shakes and banana splits plus burgers and stakes, then the snack bar which had an impressive range of rolls and snacks, we particularly loved the selection of ice cream. There were plenty of seating areas and what we loved was the soft relaxing music – The staff were so friendly and everywhere was kept clean. There’s so much more I could say about this hotel and we are so glad we have found it, so much so we have already booked a return break. So if you are reading this with the idea of coming here for a relaxing holiday, think no more, come and try it for yourself!!!!

We have just left The olympic Lagoon Paphos hotel after a sadly short but extremely enjoyable weekend stay. The food was great. Breakfast was really enjoyable and evening was a different theme each night in the buffet restaurant. Even my daughter who is rather picky when it comes to food found some food to enjoy. Staff were very friendly. House keeping amazing and placed my daughters teddies really sweetly on the bed when we went for breakfast on the 1st day. Pools were great. We definitely plan to visit again. THE HURST family.

Great location, clean and duty room and outside areas. Delicious food!

The hotel is clean and rooms are nice but the temperature of the showers are very tempremental, this was reported as it nearly scolded my granchild, but nothing changed. The choose your own sun loungers dosnt work as you very rarely get want you would like, disappointing if you have children. The service on a whole is shocking. Ques to get in the restaurant, tables not cleared all week long. Unable to actually eat together as a family. The evening options are not a great selection either and the kids options are shocking, The one hot counter is not enough. By time you get to the end your dinner is cold. The salad bar is poor. Reservations at the Italian are scarce, they wanted us to have two different times 3 one session and 3 on another session !. The pool bar service is slow small and under staffed. The evening atmosphere is soulless and getting served is slow and painful. The staff appear fed up and are not that helpful, apart from the housekeeping staff who were great. This cost £11, 000 way over priced. The partial sea view is a joke.
