Gooderson Dumazulu Lodge & Traditional Village

The lodge is in a peaceful area, close to nature. Great staff, with a great attitude and go out of their way to assist.

Unfortunately not much to do for kids except a small swimming pool and some swings etc. The swings and jungle gym is surrounded by huge trees that needs to be pruned. The rooms have not been maintained and being thatch there's a lot of creepy crawlies running around. There was no stove or microwave in our chalet, which we had to request. The food at the restaurant was disappointing even though it was Xmas, no Xmas dinner was served. I had requested this on booking and was told that a Xmas dinner would be served. Overall a poor experience and I would not recommend it to anyone. The lodge is well built but needs a lot of TLC to get it up to standard.

The location is Amaziiiiiiing and really enjoyed my stay and the lady at reception is awesome👌

They need to put more dish liquid and dish clothes in the rooms. Additional towel or indicate that you must bring your own
