The Mission Inn Hotel and Spa

Wonderful ambiance. Service was great for a holiday weekend. Security was attentive and vigilant. Rachel, the pool attendant, was very kind and efficient.

The gym area could use some updates. Treadmill wasn’t working, but was corrected by the end of the weekend.

We enjoy every stay at the Mission Inn. This stay was particularly lovely as we could look out of our window and see holiday fun at the skating rink and the Cheech. We were able to walk to a new location of The State, and enjoyed checking out the antique shop.

I’m not a huge fan of the tiny carnival set up in the valet station of the hotel. And parking is paid to the lot, not included in the price or listed as part of the bill.

I was married there, and I had a wonderful experience in the rooms the hotel, the restaurants at the hotel the bar at the hotel everything was fantastic and it was really hoping for the same experience when I went back at Christmas time to see the lights

A room was old and it appeared to be never upgraded. I didn’t even wanna shower in there. It was so bad so I went home and un-showered.

Beautiful property with numerous challenges. 1) The heat was not working in our room. They moved us to another and the heat still did not work. We decided it was not bad enough to continue disrupting our stay. 2) WIFI never worked in the rooms and barely worked in the common space. This is especially disappointing as the "resort" charge covered WIFI. 3) Television could not connect to streaming services. I did not know that it was still possible to find a hotel which charged for movies! This is supposed to be a high end property, but it fails to meet minimal standards. I really want to love it, but they make it so hard.

I love the Mission Inn and its history, but our experience in a double queen bed room was disappointing in quality for a higher-end hotel. Very simple things were off: labels scratched off of shower toiletry labels, a cheap shower curtain, a shower curtain rod that was installed upside down, a chipped bathub, and a very flimsy window covering on the first floor putting you in view of pedestrians below. Bed area was fine, but nothing outstanding for the price being paid.
