Residence Inn Rockford

Layout of the room was nice. We like having the ability to cook in the room too.

The parking fee. I was surprised to see a $5/day parking fee. When I called the hotel they told me it was on your site. It wasn’t on the confirmation so the total price on the Booking.com reservation details didn’t include the $10 for parking. We are accustomed to being able to park at the hotels we stay at for FREE!

Everything was clean and the area was very quiet and close to a lot of good stores in one major thing about this place. The staff was awesome.

We contacted the front desk about our television not working and she said she would call the company which is in Canada to reset it. I called back about 30 minutes later and she said a server was down and other tvs were out as well. Upon checkout we asked for a credit to our room because of the issue. She said contact the manager because she couldn’t do anything. Very disappointed with this hotel. I won’t be staying here anymore.

I thought I was suppose to get two queen size beds. Instead I got a suite. It had a bedroom with a queen bed and the front room had a pull out bed. When you open it it came out all the way to the desk . It also was so close to the bedroom door that you could not open it all the way. The bathroom was in the bedroom. So the person sleeping in the front room had to walk into the bedroom . Was not able to give the people in the bedroom any privacy. The pull out bed was the worst thing I have ever slept on. I have slept in Japan on mats and the pull out bed was worst. The bars under the bed were sticking in my back all night. I went to the office to complain and get pain pills so I could deal with it in the middle of the night but no one was at the dask
