Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

Everything was great from the valet parking , efficient attendance as well, to the easy check-in and checkout. Hotel is beautiful plenty of places to eat and shop. I will definitely be staying here again.

Front desk was extremely helpful with our three night reservation. Kyle was extremely professional and helpful. Great service.

Arrived and found spots of blood on the blanket and long black hairs on the towels in the bathroom. Nice room but not fully cleaned.

Spent $2000 in two days had a great time. But no comps at all. They even changed for park because we didn’t earn 10 points on the day of checkout even though we played for the last 2 day. Do yourself a favor go stay at hard rock

Please don’t stay at this hotel they overcharge you for every little thing that they don’t tell you in advance. The room was dirty. Both of the managers Michael and Betsy were rude to me and when we’re laughing at my face just a shame they ruined my whole vacation, please stay away.

They charge $39 as a resort fee when the spa is closed, the pool is closed. The manager Michal was laughing at my face. After I spent $1000 in their casino. Disgraceful the disappointing don’t come here

The Highlights: I stayed here primarily for the proximity to the Biergarten we wanted to be at for the St. Patrick’s Day parade, and the room was comped which took the sting out of the experience. The bell service was a standout—prompt and helpful with our luggage. The Not-So-Good: Room Quality: The room was musty and smelled faintly of smoke. The thermostat was ineffective, blowing warm air even when set low, which made for an uncomfortable night. Cleanliness was also lacking; the dresser drawers contained old junk and dirt, and the windows were filthy. Dated Design: While the room size was decent, the entire property feels neglected. The decor is dated (rotary switches for the bedside lamps, etc.), and the bathroom setup is poor—the "half-door" shower design resulted in a soaked floor. Navigation: Prepare for a trek. The journey from the lobby to the room requires multiple escalators, elevators, and long hallways. The elevator layout is confusing, and the machines themselves are slow and creaky. Logistics & Amenities: The property feels desolate outside of the casino. Signage is poor, making it difficult to find restaurants or clubs. The shuttle service is inconsistent; we waited 20 minutes for a shuttle that should have been a quick ride. In fact, a couple traveling with us took an Uber and arrived at our destination at the same time as the shuttle, despite the shuttle leaving half an hour earlier. Fees: Be aware that early check-in (before 3 PM) and late check-out (after 11 AM) come with fees. Given we were there during the "clocks forward" weekend, a little flexibility on the 11 AM checkout would have been appreciated. Verdict: Would I stay here again? Likely not. The lack of maintenance and the frustration of navigating the property outweighed the convenience of the location.

Trip was good besides room ..one towel dirty remote site everything u had to touch ..then worker spoke Spanish and acted like didn’t understand me

I was in the Chelsea Tower. I didn’t see any other rooms or go to the other towers but this has to be an old part of Tropicana. The bed was comfortable but the decor was outdated. A small, flat-screen television. The bathroom was updated with the tub replaced with an overhead shower and an ADA toilet. But the wallpaper wasn’t. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any photos of the room. The hallway was depressing looking and I did take photos. The casino was large. Had dinner at Carmine’s. Had been told there was a 30 minute wait to be seated. When we did get in, there was plenty of seating available. Food and service were both good. Had a nice stay. Accommodations were just so-so.
