Courtyard by Marriott Riverfront New Bern

Our stay was perfect. Great king room with a balcony overlooking the river. Didn't feel like going out to dinner so ate at the Bistro in-house and were very pleased with the meal.

A one-night stay. Overall, everything was perfect. Pleasant staff and a good location.

Tub had an ugly patch the length of the tub approx 1.5 inches wide. The room #213 was a little tired with scratched furniture and pulled thread on the sofa bed. At their rates, you would think they could at least replace the cracked/repaired tub. Not up to the standard for Marriott. Also we were not told when booking or checking in, there would be house keeping only every other day. why was the rate $299 for first day and $189 for other 2 days. This is not a $299 quality hotel.

Location is great and staff was friendly .

Staff was not completely familiar with new operations program and it took longer than usual to check in . Also the pool was not open . It was 91 degrees and the pool was closed ! This did not sit well with myself or my wife , especially for what the cost of our stay was. We have been coming here for years but I think this was our last time .Price is unreasonable for what you get , no pool and an entrance door to our room you had to kick to get open ! Not what I paid for !!

Walking distance to downtown.
