Breakfast - excellent Location - great with wonderful views over the coastline

Location was good as was the evening meal. Staff v friendly Indoor pool and steam room good Car parking good

Room smelt of damp Property is v tired and needs lick of paint throughout and upgraded generally.

Everything was fabulous. The staff, the service, the food and the room. Perfect get away and just what we needed. Loved the breakfast. Perfect poached eggs 👍

I liked the included guaranteed parking. The great included breakfast overlooking the sea. The indoor included swimming pool. A nothing , expensive hidden extras hotel. Great friendly team. An older charming hotel with style. No not plastic box....with plus ...plus...and maybe!! We would definitely stay again.

The location is superb, away from the gaudy and noisy things on the pier. It is a calming environment but well placed for visiting other attractions.

There were some very hot days but apparently no way to turn off the heated towel rail.

All lovely the hotel and external parts look tired they need to have some money spent and it would be a lovely hotel

Lovely looking hotel, convenient for Paignton seafront

Felt the hotel was a little tired looking… 4 or 5 items on the bar menu wasn’t available although we did eat at 8pm

The Hotel was an excellent building kept in good state of cleanliness and friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Unfortunately Paignton as a town has seen better days and there were lots of obviously homeless people milling around, several of whom were only begging for money from passers by. The comparison with Torquay for instance was stark. There were very few places worth visiting in the evening in Paignton either for food or entertainment. Toirquay was the place to go.
